The power plant is running on natural gas with diesel as a backup fuel. The project was aiming to reconstruct the boiler house with an obsolete steam boiler and replace it with a fire tube steam boiler. The new boiler should have capacity of at least 20 t/h steam and an operating pressure of up to 1.3 MPa.
Apart of the equipment retrofit, the necessary measures were taken to provide the compliance of the building with the norms of thermal power plants, domestic premises were redesigned and repair works were undertaken according to the survey report.
