Natural gas-fired mini CHP

Energy Center is designed to supply a plastic goods production plant with electrical and thermal capacity. This energy center is running on natural gas. The main equipment of the energy technology center are:
• 5 Natural gas pumping units (GPU) with total electrical capacity of 5,825 and thermal capacity of 6,845 kW
• 2 Gas-fired boilers with thermal capacity of 2,300kW each
• 2 Absorption refrigerators with refrigerating capacity of 2,000 kW each and heat consumption of 2,857 kW needed to drive the cooling process.
Installed thermal capacity of the energy center is 11,445 kW and calculated thermal capacity is 10,059 kW.

The energy center is a one-story rectangular in plan building with overall dimensions of 66.0 x 12.0 m in axes and height of 6.0 m to the bottom of the supporting structures. The energy center includes the boiler room, 5 premises for the gas pumping units, oil facilities, distribution points for voltage up to 10 kV, 0.4 kV switchgear, transformer, control room and a bathroom. Outside the building, there are platforms for GPU dry cooling towers and a separate platform for wet cooling towers intended for absorption refrigerator.
